ELT drama and factual for Burlington Books
English Everywhere video
We developed the concept and created the scripts for English Everywhere, a collection of twenty short drama and factual films published by Burlington Books for secondary school learners of English in Spain. We undertook all stages of the production process, from casting and location finding to post-production and DVD design and authoring. We also wrote students’ worksheets and teachers’ notes to accompany English Everywhere. The factual films involved combining researched library footage with location filming.
The drama episodes follow Emily, a student from Los Angeles, when she spends time at university in London. Filming for the Emily in the UK strand of English Everywhere took place at locations in London, Uxbridge and Oxford.
Camera: Red Epic-W delivering 4K (ultra-high-definition) images. Post-production with Adobe Premier, Adobe Audition and DaVinci Resolve.
Our first experience of working with Sharp Focus was an overwhelmingly positive one.
